Decentralized Waste Treatment is a powerful solution for regions where the infrastructure does not allow central waste treatment facilities. The reasons are numerous: lack of funding, electricity, know-how,Infrastructure, etc.
Based on micro-waste treatement processes ENTRADE is developing a system that turns food waste and other organic waste into fertilizer using waste heat provided by the ENTRADE E3 Systems. The goal is it to reduce the landfilled waste by 85%while significantly reducing the health risk of ground water pollution and untreated biowaste.
In Imo State Nigeria, Entrade will develop a comprehensive statewide waste management system that covers the whole process: from acceptance, treatment, fertilization, reprocessing and recycling, to disposal of the common waste materials like biomass and plastics, which currently are being thrown away and burned in the open.
